1. Available Job Positions Explosive Detection Section

Surveillance Section (SS)

  • Senior Operator (BS-07)
    • Vacancies: 2 posts
    • Age Limit: 21 to 40 years
    • Education & Experience: Intermediate + Intelligence course and 5 years of relevant field experience.
  • Operator (BS-05)
    • Vacancies: 8 posts
    • Age Limit: 18 to 40 years
    • Education & Experience: Matriculation + Intelligence course and 3 years of relevant field experience.

Canine Section (CS / K9)

  • Senior Canine Handler (BS-07)
    • Vacancies: 1 post
    • Age Limit: 21 to 40 years
    • Education & Experience: Middle school pass + basic dog handling course and 5 years of experience.
  • Canine Handler (BS-05)
    • Vacancies: 18 posts
    • Age Limit: 18 to 40 years
    • Education & Experience: Primary school pass + basic dog handling course and 2 years of experience.

2. Test Pattern & Passing Marks Candidates must score at least 40% marks in each section to pass. For Technical & Surveillance Posts:

  • Total Marks: 100
  • Part 1 (50 Marks): MCQs on General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Islamiat/Ethics, Urdu, and English.
  • Part 2 (50 Marks): Subjective/Objective paper related to your specific technical field.

For Canine Handler Posts:

  • Written Test (50 Marks): MCQs regarding canine training, handling, vaccination, and care.
  • Practical Test (50 Marks): A hands-on exam to test dog handling and training skills.

3. Important Rules & Dates

  • Application Form: Download the form directly from www.punjabpolice.gov.pk.
  • Application Fee: PKR 500 (Non-refundable).
  • Application Dates: Form submission is open from June 01, 2026, to June 15, 2026.
  • Test Location: Written and practical tests will take place at the Punjab Police Integrated Training Academy (PSIA) in Chung, Lahore.
  • Official Quotas: Government quotas for women, minorities, and disabled persons will be strictly followed.
  • Warning: Submitting fake documents or false information will result in immediate disqualification and legal action.
